Does Eating chocolate and fried foods cause acne ?

Though you may think that we can control our blemishes by watching what we eat, but it is not as simple as that, skipping chocolate and fried foods will not prevent you from getting pimples or preventing acne.


Current medical knowledge suggest that it it not necessary  to avoid pizza, chocolate, greasy and fried foods, and junk food, while these foods may not be good for overall health, they don't cause acne or make it worse. Studies show that the only relation between food and acne is that  dairy products and high glycemic foods can trigger acne.

Therefore, it may be healthier for you to avoid sweets and fried foods, but it won't improve your skin. Certain cosmetics, sweating and high humidity may aggravate your acne.
